Synopsis
Who would possibly want to kill Abigail Spencer? A thirty-two-year-old woman, just trying to live her best life, successfully making and selling her handmade jewelry and working part-time as a secretary at her church. But after some unforeseen events in her life – someone’s not enjoying the fact that she’s alive and breathing. They’re out for blood. Wesley Wolf, however, isn’t gonna let that happen on his watch. He takes his job way too serious for that.
“A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock.” John 10:12
My Thoughts
I can’t say enough about this book. Campbell immerses readers into a story with heart-pounding action and heartfelt emotions. I found myself falling in love with Wolf as the story progressed. Another strength and blessing of this book are how Campbell interweaves scripture into the storyline. These subtle reflections feed your spirit as you plunge into the world that Campbell shares with us. Christian readers that do not read Christian books with profane language will notice that there are a couple of instances where characters use four-letter words/expletives. The instance are few and are in line with the flow of the character’s conversation. The words aren’t harsh or written in a tone of disrespect. I enjoyed Wolf and if you haven’t read it you should pick it up today. You can thank me later.
