Women created from the womb of man, powerful, beautiful, and full of God’s favor are the mothers of the earth. It is through a woman that a child is born. This week we dive into strong female characters.
Jas’Mia
Jas’Mia rededicated her life to Christ after her mother’s death. She attempts to walk in the path that believers take but she is far from perfect. She is mourning the loss of her mother, adjusting to life after a break-up, and being forced to watch her childhood crush marry another woman. Jas’Mia is flawed but faithful and her faithfulness takes her from walking crooked with Christ to walking into blessings.
Rue
Rue is hated by everyone in her family except her father. Literally, only five people show her love, her band crew, and Jesus. After hearing an argument between her parents, she learns that she is not her mother’s child. Then when things couldn’t get any worse, she learns that her entire life has been a lie. Everything about Rue has been different her whole life. Rue learns why she always seems to be sitting on the fence.
Jade
Jade is faithful to her husband and to her savior. However, each prayer that is answered gives temporary joy and lifetime pain. Jade wants to please God and do all the things, but she can’t understand why the faithful are burdened with pain. Jade has no choice but to rest on the word.
We solute these fictional women and the mothers, sisters, aunts, and friends in our life. Please tell someone how much they mean to you.
